Hi !
I have never really been able to make these triplets you can hear in a lot of trance.
All my drumsamples play in 1/16 ,boring...
I hope someone here can help me with this.
How do you make these triplets with a tracker (i use buzz )
I believe you have to use the command note delay and retrig but i don´t really get it .
I would like to add this rytmic triplets to my basedrum.
If anyone could help me i would be very thankful
Best regards Conny

Hi
well it´s kind of hard to explain.
It sounds like the bd is moving really fast in a rytmic way to later get back to the original tempo of the song.
Forgive me , i wish i had a song example... |

make the pattern length 3/4 the length, the speed 3/4 the speed, and put a bassdrum every 3 steps instead of every 4 - voila, instant 6/8 beat in every tracker.

I dunno how buzz works, but maybe it's possible to Quantize to triplets.... just like other sequencers i know of
Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

i actually already told you this in your last thread
Set TPB to 12
In this situation 1 beat is 12 ticks (instead of 4), one quaver is 6 (not 2), one semiquaver is 3 (not 1). but you also now have triplet quaver (4) and triplet semiquaver (2) available to you.
