Hi guys,
I've just recently started to create an album with friends and most of it is going to be done online by exchanging files, on the first track we encoutered a problem:
File Size, too many hours waiting for upload/download
We've been exchanging the full exported wav files of each track plus the midi files for notes reference.

Any Ideas or previous experience would be much apreciated.

Thank you in advance.

make rars..using sendspace or another page that supports (if biggern than 300 MB) (=
try to bounce EVERYTHING is needed..to make the work easier and smoother for the other user

Sorry I forgot to mention that altough we share wav files they are compressed in rar.

That Ohm Software sounds appeling PsiloCybian, but is it reliable? Gess Ill have to try a trial to see if its worth it.

PoM, FLAC sounds good I've heard about it in the past, but how do you go with it? do you use FLAC format all the way trough? In the project and all or is it just a compression tool like rar? If it is, do I need any special tools to compress/decompress files?

you can do both if your sequencer import /export to flac, if not you ll need a soft like flacdrop and use it like zip

in cubase there is a setting to save projet in a new location and erase all unused audio files, usually we do that + rar the folder. one make one half of the track and the other finish it/change what he don t like then resend for final touch if needed
