much better in my opinion...
my question is how to make the 16th note rithm when your using a synth or midi keyboard.....
is there a program in witch you can type the notes manualy or do I have to play the rythm live om my keys???????

but reason is more than capable for a 16th bassline!

...or get a stepsequencer...

or what you also can do is slow down the bpm to 60 or so and than play in your notes note by note...

mmz alright..
I have cubase sx that should be perfect, but now the nezxt problem is how do I connect my midikeyboard to the VST Instruments so that I record what I play?

I think I already connected the keyboard to the programm becouse I have a signal but no sound..... so when I use a softsynth or a vst instrument I should get sound no???

My keyboard is connected with USB

i'm not experienced with hardware but if you have a midi channel, set the "in" (on the left) to your keyboard and the "out" to the synth, it should play.

Iznicat, c'mon luiwammes... this is the easy stuff: check the Cubase manual or helpfile or watch some tutorials

Haha, Boobytrip, thats the spirit!

i dont know how the usb shit works, but
go to device menu in cubase, Device setup - Vstaudiobay and choose the best driver your soundcard has... this should be for cubase SX 3, i forget how it looked in SX2 hehe....

well usb midi is something i dont know, maybe someone does...

well like emotion says, open a miditrack, load a vst synth, go to the midi tracks output and open the dropdown menu, choose the vst synth and if you can sort your midi stuff you should be able to play it if the track is highlighted...

be more specific about your setup and im sure you will get help..

cheers..

beside that u can open midi track and draw your pattern for the 16th bass.dont forget to quantize , and try to use length and velocity to make it groovy
