its the imagination that was needed to put all these snippets together that rocks you!
listen to the original tracks - they have nothing in common nor relation to each other at all..
but the resulting patchwork made from its peaces kicks some serious arse! the creative ideas count, not the techniques...           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

I think it is at least that hard to find a good sample from an old or an almost unknown source ,espescialy from old records, maybe from the 60s/70s or older,or from other cultures deep digging, and create sth from it that you could not really recognize it cause sounding so fresh.
Good sampling is as hard as good synth programming. And often harder. This video is a great example.
And this is only one way or an example.
Very cool inspiration.

It's so easy to mangle audio on Live!

question: Did they cleared the samples??

there is no honest way to explain it because the only people
who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over\Hunter S. Thompson

sample packs is good
if it was from vinyl it was for sure "cleared".The eq ,sometimes saturator, duplicating bass tracks and chorus is a cool way.
I started again to do sth in ableton, really cool workflow.
But of course you can do that with almost any other - reason lacks of timestretch though.
I think also the RATM sample action is heavy.

This is fast video, but he certainly spent several hours on this production.
I've learned some really good technics!

He does massive cuts and boosts in there
Some EQs look like done by ear.

How on earth did he figure out where all those samples came from?

I'd never have recognised them in a million years.

I only knew about Kool Keith. How the heck do you spot a Rage guitar with wah-wah time-stretched?!

Insane - I think I should quit my hobby of music making & focus on my day job.

it's knowledge of music itself at all,not only one genre etc and passion for sampling˛
