Dose. Get Inspired. Program. Edit. Edit. Edit.
"Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth."
Neo: "What truth?"
Spoon Boy: "There is no spoon." |

Drugs and music making....not if I'm behind the desk/DAW, for the recording guitarist or vocalist, etc it is different and I don't mind whatever it takes for him to give the best performance.
So, as far as everyone else here I agree with them , that weed and alcohol, and everything else just leads to sloppiness, distraction and laziness. Drugs are For leisure and partying not for programming/composing. |

heroin is the best drug for music making - even if the track sounds like total shit > it doesn't matter...
it also helps you to spent more time on quality production - cause you'll need money soon |

marijuana has a high effect of creativity on me but if im smokin too much its bad coz it removes my willpower to focus on details...
but if i can balance it...its great thing..adds a lot for my production learnin process..
as someone has said... when not overabused..when u smoke one to check a track in progress u can check details like the track wasnt urs...
its a very cool effect...

depends, sometimes for me drugs made me enjoy things that would need to be better to enjoy them clean...that a part of why we think it give us more creativity imo but that not always the case.
it s like i m a lot more critical/picky when clean , it s way harder for me to enjoy the music, it set the bar higher than when stoned. stoned make me way more productive but it don t mean better music in the end. |

Never used drugs in the studio and I never will. Alcohol is making me tired and lazy. I don't smoke weed, so donno if it's working. The other things are imo made for the dancefloor or for some wicked journeys in the woods
I got the best results with a sobber mind, some cigarettes and a pot of coffee

if we would make some real music instead of this psychobrainfuck we wouldn't have to take so much drugs all the time |
