How the live act works??
Im kinda new on music production, and I have been wondering how the live act really works.
I mean, How can you put like 8 tracks on you production tool to play it?
Generaly you have to make parts of your track and make a new file witch have all the tracks you want to play and just put the effects?
I dont know if i was clear, but i think you can understand!
Thank you! |

Thank you for that videos, it helped me in parts.
Glitch, you put all your tracks on your production tool?
like 1hour of music and just go on putting the fx?
I have been using ableton. I tryed to put 3 tracks(about of 24 mins). My working area on it becames a little bit confusing and i got lots of instruments and layers there.
That is the right way to do it? |

Hey Tiagof,
try to work with group tracks..in live so create send/returns one for kick and bass in mono , one for percussion and one for synths..do not use too much vst..try to set them up with program changes or use audio instead..just let some synths in you really want to tweak on..makes thing more stable and still you can apply nice fx on the audio..
if you like check out my tutorial on follow actions here.. http://www.dark-zlime.de.tl/Follow-Action-.htm
but thats just one way to work with..everybody actualy might got its own way..but give it a try if you like..
maybe you should check this stuff first before further steps..
good luck!
