Have you ever try to make a track 140 bpm, doing it on 70 bpm, (doubled) or 160 bpm on 80 bpm? or opposite...

I heard that some chill out, hi tech... n stuff has made this way.

Your opinion, pros and cos?           www.zenit-galaxy.com

I've done it before on some glitchy tracks i've wrote. i like to go half time so if im at 172 i half it and go 86. it sounds the same weather you double it or half it- kinda fun to do when you wanna spice up a section of a tune           http://soundcloud.com/brentmalik

It could work yes - it will sound the same like kolishin said, however I bet you will stumble on some creative effect that you wouldn't have achieved on normal bpm.

Only Con for me would be the space for detail cuts in half, which can become a drag.

You can also do a tempo change and go from 140 to 120 for example. Might be even more fun because it is less suspected!           soundcloud.com/supergroover
