Nice!

Yeah i did a whole lotta research before jumping in the deep end. Have to say I learnt alot about synthesis.

I also believe they discontinued the Zdsp not so long ago.

i wonder if it s the same as the Xs, i guess it is at it s same knobs size..on your module, do you have to move the knobs very very slowly to find sweet spots? i find it a pain !! range can be big and there is like 360000 spots on such small knobs.. it s so easy to miss a great spot for example on fm.
it make it really harder to program for me

nice, have you tried to make kicks on the corgasmatron? it s supposed to be good at this.
one of the borg is really good too for kicks

the tightest precise envelops are supposed to be the cwejman ,the module is rather expensive but if you are a drums programin fan like me it s probably well worht it

i like the small knobs thing (dont go there plz!)....im a micro tweeker

but surely the XS sends and receives midi?

couldnt you get round that with a controller

besides with modular you can whack an atenuator in there and increase the range

Not tried kicks with the modular yet, i have a DSI tempest for all my drum tweaking. Have been building a nice little studio this past year as I moved back with folks for a bit. Trying to fill my modular case before I move out again

i would not be suprised if your modular beat tempest but it s not same workflow and all this... sell your tempest buy more modules

just looking at a list of what MATHS actually does

1 Module

attenuator
invertor
clock generator
dual controller
cv modulation
envelope follower
envelope generator
frequency divider
slew
lag processor
multiple
mixer
function generator
oscillator
and finally logic

this thing will do cv or audio (ring mod??)
and every output is capable of driving a four output unbuffered multiple

tony i take ma hat off to you bud
