great I think for introducing synthesis. If my son was a bit older I'd buy it for him. I've got no interest in it whatsoever. Now the new intellijel modular system... And the new Qu-Bit modules... They can have my money now!!

Oh and yes please to the Dave Smith & Tom Oberheim collaboration. I really want to get my fingers on that!!           Cuntus Maximus.

Absolutely gorgeous. This paired with an SEM filter would be amazing. Not an advanced system but I think something like this would be great to master before jumping into more complex modular setups.

yep.. its a very pretty little synth
and once its out in the wild i rekon folks will be very impressed
... i had quite a few Make Noise modules and the Sound and functionality are exemplary

with the function generator its basically a dual Osc voice
set the Dials for the rise and fall to 12 noon TRI wave.... Rise to zero fall to full Sawtooth and so on

plus the Add/Sub circuit will be able to give additional waveforms to the Osc as well

tony's a smart guy when it comes to stuff like this

personally i would stick a Borg2 filter on it... similar to the sem but got a couple of Vactrols in it for that LPG ping

vactrols make everything thick and GOOEY

I love how it sounds, I love how it looks, I love all the different options...

I just can't really see much of a use for it in my own work. I mean, I'd love to have one, and I'd use it, but as far as using it a lot, or enough to justify spending the money, I'm not sure.           .

Funny to read my previous post after having got one less than a year later, and definitely finding use for it in my work.

It's really something you have to hear in person, at least not over Youtube demos, because while the Youtube demos are really what I based my decision on, they didn't really prepare me for just how cool the thing can sound. Gwonks, bubbles, weird soundscapes, but also clean bright chromatic stuff.           .
