Well, here we go again, ARS land and your regular "yey BOM BOM BOM trance!!!" people have found their new "god" : Yahel.
Everyone has forgotten the guitars in "none of this is real" and the 1st minuets in "bust a move" and started listening to "YAEL" (yahel).
Geez... these people can't even pronounce it right. YAEL YAEL!! err bah.
Anyway, WTF is going on!??! this is starting to look like the POP sceene, every few weeks a new "god", this is so crappy!
I was D.Jing at this crappy party, doing a friend a favour, only to find my self rocki'n the joint with heavy psy-trance when morons come up to me shouting "YESH LEHA YAEEEEL?!!?" (-do you have yael?)
Geez, this stinks and i don't even think u can call this ugly music a part of TRANce genere.
Anyway, has anyone noticed that on YAAAEELSSs - Voyage after the long buildup ... exactly at the end it brakes down in an instant and then the stupid melody comes in! geez, this dude which once made happy uplifting nice trance has become crap.
This perticular part sounds like a 6 years old IT part.... listen to it a few times and see how crappy it's produced.
bah, not going to listen to YAEEEELLLL no more!

Yahel is a star and despite that his music is commercial and simple u can't on him! very simple..
yes his music connects different ppl..but it's still trance and this is what really helps ppl discover real trance, after yahel they probably won't listen to lower then 140bpm and would like to open something else, like infected and astral etc..i am with yahel as long as it doesn't disturb me and brings more ppl to trance. You need some step between house/techno/dance staff and serious staff..
And yes, in Israel it's opposit effect..or no effect at all just "wrong" ppl connect to Yahel..And i am talking about abroad only..there it's different and it really helps..
And Israel...well Yahel and nitzhonot staff are israeli trance scene child, and as i already said 1000 times, u can't hate your child despite he's ugly..

p.s. Ron, roll us a giant sux;) new Orion or Shakta are fucking much better, but i never told or mentioned any, i am not forcing ppl think my way. So don't start..u have "wholes" in trance too;) We all do from time to time.

Ron, sometimes i think you don't have an opinion of your own, you say something (like this thing with roll us a giant) and when someone else says it sux, you change your mind.
Stand up for what you believe!! listen to whatever you like, and don't judge other ppl by the music they hear. if someone likes eyal barkan and yahel (and don't get me wrong-i don't like that music too) and that sort of music then good for him! as long as he enjoys it. and like shivas said it brings more ppl (sometimes the wrong ones) closer to real trance, it's like a phase in getting into trance.
so like it was said thousands of times before me in this forum, let each one hear whatever he wants and leave him the fuck alone...8)
btw- roll us a giant do sux...;) |

Roll was extremely fun to hear the 1st 10 times... after that it got more boring, didn't have the same effect... get my drift? :D

I think that Yahel makes great uplifting full-on-hormones trance, and his success in that genre and in the club charts in Europe is unprcedented for an Israeli artist. Most of his tracks are dancefloor stormers. Personally I find this kind of music boring and I can't call it intelligent dance music, but I think it has no such aspirations.
I always wonder how come Israelis can never support a succeding fellow countryman (see Astral, Infected, Yossi Fine, etc. etc.). |

Shahar u should ( no u don't ) check out other cultures and u will find out that it's a kind of a behavior that only Jewish Israeli ( that as far as I dig ) own. Don't want to get racist here, but it seems that these ppl I metioned, when they see one of their own achieve something or get a little higher than their own head - they start being very nasty ( and that was an understatement )
I myself not too much into Yahel's music ( that is not my style )
BUT HATS OFF FOR YAHEL FOR NO ONE IN THIS COUNTRY HAS GOT AS FAR AS HE DID ( up till now ) - GO, GO, YAHEL! |
