Hi guys, i'm new here,i'm from italy and i really love this forum.
I wanna ask you (if possible) how to make a kind of "Major7&Capital Monkey - Seven Monkeys" bass.
I search in the forum but i didn't found what i was looking for.

It sound a double layer bass to me, low layer (30 - 120 hz) could be probably made by Trillian because of the clean subs I hear, and high layer (120hz - 2khz with any saw synth with distortion, EQ and compression in both. It's not like youre going to find o special formula, I believe you can reach it in many ways. You 'll need to experiment to find the right spot. But the key here would be that double layering thing.. Yes maybe, but i always do a double layer for the bass, one for the sub and one for the "high" , i use saw wave generally, a bit of overdrive,eq,compressor ( if necessary ). but this sound a little different, and i can't understand where i'm wrong. It sound like if it has a percussion (maybe?) layered with the bass.
Hope you understand what i'm trying to tell you

Yes actually I now hear theres one high frequency percussión "imitating" the bass, I believe that percussion has some bit crush aswell..

It feels like there is some delay on it as well. Try the delay as a send effect and cut the lows out. Try 1/8, 1/16 and maybe 1/8D and 1/16D with low feedback.

I tried the delay and it works very good!
i use it as a send with a little of "erosion" (ableton) and it works soo good!
i would never thought to use a delay for a bass, but this works, and sounds really good to me!
