does anyone think WHY music so impress people?
if music only vibrations, what this vibrations doing with our mind?
there is not technical topic, i'am only try to understend what is music...
I think that this is one of the magic that happens in our world. Like sun rising...
No one can explain what music is. But we can listen and find some vibrations that make as more sensible, more powerfull, more beautiful...
I think that all what happen around as - magic.
But sometime this magic directly affect on our mind...
With some air pressure for example
Question only HOW we interpret this action...
Does we understood that this is life form, like we are?
And they wanna communicate with us, they wanna say us somthing....
Why? Why we THUS react on music?
Why music have mood?
Why on every people this mood react equaly?
I think becouse music alive...
Not we producing music - music producing us...
We just listen,find and record.
Or maybe i'am wrong?

It's one form of many ways of art. And art is psychologically moves our minds.

nectarios - I gotta agree with you on the technical side.
But you have to admit that sound, like any other form of sense (taste, touch, etc..) gives you emotions.
Sipping from a great wine, or looking at some great painting by Dali, or even getting a hug from a loved one. Everything technical has it's emotional sides as well. Music as well - it's generated by electrical circuits and moving air molecules, but just like sex for example - it's just a signal going from your nerves to your brains, releasing serotonine and other substances which give you a feeling of pleasure. So making music is like having sex

don't music carry any emotion's? Or maybe emotion's only effect of this kind of vibrations? Only flow of serotonin? And we are biorobots controlled with
+-5V...
All around us "... only compressions and rarefractions (CaR)",but with some CaR we can interact, with other - no.
All our life - CaR.
Music - in my opinion - is a key to control(modulate?) those CaR in myself.
