Which do you think is the best audio/electronic music/producer magazine? There is a couple of magazines that is sold here in Norway with cd´s with free samples and stuff, wich is very cool, but I would like to read a magazine with quality content too, you know Sound On Sound seems nice, but no free stuff there.

Thanx

i would advise computer music if you are starting, then going up is future music and then sound on sound, there's also a new one called digital DJ but i don't think is that good. Computer music has a very nice website with some tutorials and a forum, i advise you to take a look.

hope those are fine for you           Visit me

i usually go to one of those stores with lots of magazines and pick the ones with articles that are of interest to me.

the UK ones are cool and there are also some good american ones. i dont known about german and french ones.

i avoid translated magazines. those are usually a pice of crap

etnarama: i started with sound on sound (very good) then future music and more recently i've bought computer music... it proves my own theory that may brain is receding           roll a joint or STFU :)

a side question for you: is sound on sound, future music or computer music available in kiosks usually (outside the countries in which they are published) or is it necessary to order them from the publishers?

i don't see any of those mags around here, only german "adware" magazines (keyboards..)

thanks for any info

Oh yeah! One more thing... Wrong place to ask maybe, but what about astronomy magazines? Not the most technical one, but something to keep me updated and inspire me!
There is one called Astronomy and one called Astronomy Now. Anyone read these?

Sometimes you can get Pdf's of these mags in emule's, dc++'s, but not sure if i should speak about this here..... take a look in the websites as advised, google it

Sy000 of course sometimes, a few mags disappear.. eheh once "mitra" always "mitra"......           Visit me

if prefer computer music. future music is good, too. here in germany we don't have really good magazines, for me they are boring in comparison to the ones mentioned above. and often they annoy their readers. unfortunately computer music is only available as "abonnement" here so i would have to sell my car because it's that expensive. and i don't even have a car!

yeah martyn, german's "keyboards" sucks, it's mostly gear test for those gear which pay also advertisements in the current mag.. sheesh. i read some "keys" which sometimes were a bit better but not much.
