Hi! Here I present you part 3 and part 5 of the Samothrace Mysteries series dedicated to the mystery of the ancient isle of Samothrace. The series are split into 6 parts, this thread is for the 3rd and 5th part.

All the visitors are gathered in half circle around the priest. The priest is naked, bearing only a red belt and a forehead adornment proving his status among the others. His speech dedicated to the Gods starts slowly, evolves into holy words spoken in unknown language but understood by everyone. The sun starts to go down and he shows the need of a sacrifice. A joyful cry echoes in the forest...

The priest gives to the noble visitors a phiale and they fill it with the blood of the freshly killed animal. Strength, rejoice, enthusiasm spreads around the crowd while through their blood veins, the divine substance in the bull's blood takes them one step closer to their guardians. The sundown gives the start for the feast.
