Anybody would think you are doing free PR for MDF Colin. Hoping for a gig from them at some point?
For those interested that is the sort of stuff I have called Colin out on before as well as "being wishy washy" and if I remember correctly the order I put the words in "not so much a has been but more a never was" and last year "a good musician but poor ambassador for yourself" which quite probably goes a long way to explaining his post calling my mental state into question. I mean I must be mad if I say things like that to him!

I actually cant listen to your incessant, whiney ramblings anymore, Dave. You're a festering thorn in the scene.
I have no more to say on this matter as I have just verified that I have a seasons worth of free vortex and village parties. That is more than enough for me.
Hope you sort your issues out.

This email was forwarded to me by one of the MDF Ambassdors, received from the organiser of Sonica, and deals with the issue of ticket exchanges / complementary entry.
Hi Mike,
if i remember well i pleased you to not mention Sonica festival for the swapping and that we would have been able to find an agreement between us according to the new Sonica festival policy and
only later on.. So this email doesn't get me well as your umpteenth action to manage your things at one-sided level.
I deeply understand your difficulties but i have to point out all the negative feedbacks that i received from you along all our interaction, starting from booking issues, collaboration proposals and, at a recent
previous time, your answer about my need to change only 2 names on the tickets with other 2 that i found, having 2 closed friends of mine not more able to come in Tanzania...
and you answered me coldly: "NO" ...because you edited your "terms and conditions" since the beginning of 2010 (!!!!!!!)
So it was openly clear that this answer made absolutely no-sense, having already the money in your bank account and so turning your backs to one of your ambassador or at minimum to a regular request
(...and you would use to say: "one love - one family" ??????????)
Personally i can tell you that Sonica festival allowed people to change the name of its ticket until 2 days before the starting of the festival, as we feel to behave correctly with the festival goers who give us their trusts!
This fact i mentioned gave me really a bad vibe from you and moreover compromised a positive relationship i had with 2 closed friends of mine.
According to these results i was completely sure to not support you never more but, as i am a very sensitive person, i felt anyway my solidarity after mafia cancellation and i told you
that we could find an agreement to give you help some-how but without spreading any information yet.
So this public announcement is the final proof of how you manage your business and that you are not a person or a professional worker who can keep his word!
I need to inform you also that most of the people i know are thinking to a big fraud so you should be at least very grateful for the ambassador's actions who are trying to keep clean your faces!
After receiving this email i can now confirm you that i will open my gates only for the few italians who bought the presales from me but no one more..
You know, differently from many other festivals, everybody knows about Sonica economic difficulties along the previous editions but i never thought to ask other European millionaire festivals to help me
economically with my losses when i was under balance of thousands and thousands euros.. and only after sacrificing completely myself i've been able to recover the positive energies and to keep working on...
So considering Sonica festival past and its new future outside of Italy, where we are all looking forward, i officially inform you now that no-swapping is allowed to get in next Sonica 2011.

For those, that want to create situations our of nothing!
keep in mind that in many festivals , includig Sonica, swap tickets means that we pay the ticket to the organizers to let u in...also in sonica italians will go for free and rest who apply we will pay their tickets direct to the organizers and people wil get a confirmation about it...

Your comments dont quite add up or make sense. Can you please also clarify this matter. You have previously posted that you had income of 200k and that you have spent 300k and are now going to pay for peoples tickets to other festivals. Where will that money come from as it appears you already have 100k of debt to sort out as well?
Then of course there is the confusion you create about these festivals where lets use the example of Sonica again where the presale ticket is 70 and yours was 130'ish. Will you be keeping the 60 difference for 'admin costs' or something or do you plan now to tell us it was your intention to refund that all the time and it was just you didnt make it clear in your ticket swop statement?

It's very well with the ticket exchange (I am sure more Festivals will come forward as Sonica did and ask Mike & Co to shut up). I met people this weekend in Sweden who DO NOT want a ticket to another Festival. They just want their money back. Furthermore they do not have any money to travel for anymore as they also paid expensive flight tickets. Basically their Holiday is RUINED!!!! So I doubt many will have any joy in this so-called ticket exchange. And yes where does the money come from Mike? Very interesting questions. Would it not be more smart to return people's money and let them decide if they want to pay the entrance in another Festival instead of forcing ticket exchange upon them? And do you still return the remaining money when you deduct the lower new Festical ticket prices versus your high ticket price?
It would be amazing with an answer from you this time around instead of the usual "we are family" crap!
There are many people still waiting for the legal documents (permits etc.) you say you have. Yet you still do not show anything

Just to make it clear. I will look into this mess in the next day or two, when I have time and decide how to handle this. Some people here for sure can use the time to think well on how they express themselves.
