In the UK the law ensures that ticket sellers NOT the people they are selling them on behalf of are required to cover the cost of the refund AND the booking fees if the event is cancelled.
It is impossible to discover the identies of all of the UK ticket sellers due to the page being taken down by MDF from their website but in conversation on PsyMusic Robin Triskele, one of those ticket sellers AND also head of PR and marketing (you really would have thought any professional worth their title would know their legal liabilities?) is in complete denial of her responsibilties under consumer legislation.

Please try and ignore Dave Arc-I's current focus on Robin Triskele, I don't know if he is wholly in control of his actions in this regard, as he is apt to take on irrational vendettas and campaigns against people due to long-standing issues not of his making. He means no harm at heart and is a good soul deep down, of this I have no doubt. Despite the way I've expressed my own frustrations about his behaviour (particularly when it was directed against me, as it still occasionally is), he needs and deserves our support, sympathy and compassion more than anything else.
Robin has told me she is well aware of her legal responsibilities, and that given the relatively small sums concerned she is not surprised that no-one has yet decided to go the legal route with her. In any case she is doing all she can outside that to keep people informed, to assist with finding alternatives to the original plan for those with tickets to Tanzania, and to enable refunds to be made as and when that becomes possible.

After many requests, we have been in contact with many international festivals and events, working towards swapping tickets.
Many festivals are supporting us, through these hard times and proving what family means!

We have arranged ticket swaps with other festivals and events in case you would rather do this, than apply for a refund – check these out and if you fancy any of them just let us know and we will arrange it.
Please, be aware that you need to APPLY to us for the ticket swap and NO free entry in these festivals will happen without prior notification and confirmation by us. When you will arrive at these festivals, you will be asked for ID and your Mafia Dance Festival ticket in order to enter for free. Both are essential together with your previous request to us!
Also, keep checking this page, as the list will grow day by day, with more German, South African and other International festivals. We talk with more and more promoters every day!
For all ticket holders, but especially the South African Family, we prepare something very special that will be announced in the next 2 weeks, so please wait until then before applying for your normal ticket refund.
MDF ticket holders who will be attending the South African party season starting September 2010 and ending April/May 2011, will be able to have free entrance to many Festivals and parties there. The exact list and details will be announced shortly but inlcudes all “Vortex” events, “Village” events and many events happening around their dates plus more! For international crowd could be a nice occasion to go to South Africa and party a month or more, for free!
It is expected that more party promoters from other countries, will offer their help and support. More free parties and festivals for the MDF ticket holders will be announced soon for 2010 & 2011, so stay tuned!

It was until you posted Tizzy which now begs the question that it appears to look like you havent bothered thinking about those that just want their money back or those that wont be able to get a month off work next year to get to south africa for a months worth of partying for example.
The statement says to wait before applying for a refund. Why? Many posts I have read on the facebook groups are asking for their money back and now not in some months time. The statement from MDF also fails to include how to apply for a refund if the offer they are suggesting isnt acceptable. It also tries to blind people by saying "look party for a month for FREE" how does that work then? These people have already lost MDF ticket price + potential airfares to get that "free" offer. It is the sort of talk you get in TV adverts when a multi national announces their 'new and improved' product.
If people who have issues with MDF need a place to discuss matters without people who seem to want to be a part of the problem by undermining people who are trying to be a part of the solution and doing their best to derail threads then this is the place to go

Not true about the glass thing but I quite often see through smokescreens and spot the scam.
Whilst noting previously you are able to score good English giving me the impression you were at school on those days your maths skills make me think those were the days you werent there.

Sonica Ticket at presale price 70 euro. MDF @ 130ish (depending on which phase)
My calculator suggests 60 euro gone adrift in that particular offer. Are the MDF organisers suggesting they will be refunding the difference as there is no text covering that option?
Would you like me to go through that list of offered festivals and do a side by side comparison with the others to see who would actually be making a bit of money on those deals? (Thats MDF for the people that havent got the hang of how this game works)
Dont believe the hype about them doing YOU a favour on the ticket deals it is quite the reverse.
I only struggle to acknowledge the good in things when there isnt any to be found. As my posts pulling things apart try to show you but you stubbornly refuse to see they are continuing to take the piss out of people.
