it s cool to make weird sound but i find it have thin and 2d sound, not much depth ,dry its like something is lacking...
but it was first version i tried... i was very close to buy it , might give it a other try .

Well, my nearly 5 year old laptop hated it. Made Ableton freak the fuck out. But then again, what did I expect?

I really have never heard much from a Buchla that was all that interesting to start with.
There are some interesting ideas in this synth but I was hoping for more.

yep ,for drones and textures it s good , great synth for sound design, was hoping for more me too but this thing can make some very unic sounds

i tried the demo again , and enjoyed it way more,the first time i was a bit disapointed cause i probably tryed too much to make it sound like a usual va, this synth should be aborded with a different mind, it s the SYNTH to make really psychedelic weird sound , guys that love weird stuff and sound exprimentation gonna like this one..
i made such a sick lead with crazy modluation and the demo can t save ahaha that hurts

Aalto really blew my mind, I wasn't expecting such oddness, but I should have seen it coming, its from northern California after all Probably one for my 'VST-to-buy' list...

Its good innit!? Initially all I had to do was open up a Richard Devine patch to hear what kind of madness its capable of! But yeah, mudpeople, hehe ive done all sorts of recording with just the demo. I ended up with a whole folder full of just aalto samples. The watermark "wooosh" actually sounds pretty cool on some of them!

i had to bought it after that patch ! and damn i will probably never find how i did it, dont even remember tbh, i wanted to be sure it dont hapen again lol .
this one is really a beast for sounds coming out from a other planet best 99$ i have spent since ace.
btw the fm and lfo at fast rates seems to sound really good (havent used it at 44.1 yet),have to experiment a bit more with it ,didnt have time yet but it seems quality stuff !

go get it guys, if you like to comunicate with the aliens it s the synth for you lol ..we could share some sick patchs ! have you seen the way you can exange patch on the net with it? just with a copy paste from the mouse, presets are text i have find a preset exchnage site , don t remember the adress but if some are intrested i will post it here when i find it back

lol @ the watermark I agree its not bad either
I really can't demo a plug properly if its got harsh bursts for watermarks, I find myself anticipating the next one with dread and unable to give it a proper run-through, so Aalto gets points for that too .
