They say today,
Behringers reach the quality of mackies.
Though in the long run Mackie stays more loyal - well - you can buy two behringers for one mackie anyway!

behringer started out making cheap and crappy copies of mackie mixers and got sued by mackie for doing so.i have owned behringer desks and all i can say is that compared to mackie they suck bigtime crappy hardware and sound, but they still are cheaper than the mackies though.
in this business you get what you pay for and better sound costs more that seems to be the general rule anyway. you should think of buying a used mackie desk instead of a new behringer
they never break and have very low maintenance
i think that would pay off in the long run, although i recently had a nasty live experience with one i would still recommend them over behringer just for the sheer build quality. |
