Hello.
Im going to buy monitors and got my eyes on the mackie mr8´s.
How do you think these will work in a small room of 15-18 square meeters?. I will do some room treatment.

I knew someone would answer this.
I dont have possibillity to spend 900 euro on a pair of monitors right now.
For sure its better to start with something smaller and then upgrade, then have complete shit gear?.

Trust your ears! Go and hear some monitors which you are able to buy with your money. Then buy those ones you like. Go home and hear a lot of songs and sounds you like with the monitors you bought. If you are able to produce the same sound you hear from your favourite tunes in your own tracks with your (cheap) monitors, then you can decide to buy better monitors.

cheap monitor = sadness in the future when ur skills get better

out of all the hardwares... the monitors are the ones that will make u wish to bang ur head in the wall if u buy cheap solutions in a long term time

acoustic treatment s a must, but u can always do that later and it can be much cheaper than the monitors...

but out from the cheap solutions...the yamahas h8 are very apreciated...

Well the future is certainly not right now .
And what ever i upgrade to will be a big upgrade to my current equipment, thats how i see it.

My studio will be in a very small room, dont you think the hs80 are too big for my 10-18 square meeter room?           .
