I got em, havent really listened in too them yet since i just recently bought em but i think they sound good. Not too weak in the low end(ofcourse it doesent go down to real sub levels), and balanced all over.
I dont have too much to use as a reference tho but i like them!.           .

I know its double the cash (although 280 quid is not an awful lot of money), but (apparently) used HR 824s mk1 go for 500-600 quid these days.
They require some sort of acoustic treatment and a room that is not too small, but they are great monitors to mix tunes on. And the bass response is deep.

Save up as much as you can for the absolute best monitors you can afford. Its the thing that will make the biggest difference on your mixes.

Peace out.

cheers disco ..yeah i know but i bought these for a set in my living room for the tv,dvd mp3 jukebox PC in ma living room

but whats stricking me is the fact that after hearing other mixes through them was how bad the mistakes jumped out...which made me kinda think of the old yamaha ns 10 monitors

im not using these as my main setup but will definatelly be using them as my reference pair.......love em,nowhere to hide

I wish I could find a pair of NS-10s in good shape. That would speed up the mixdown process a lot....used them in my university years and thought, how the hell do pros, like to listen to music on these things...

Peace out.
