recently ive bought the macintosh g5 with logic audio pro 7 ,

since i use logic for a quiet years .. i've been using the vb1 vst for basslines ... since ive changed to the MAC computer and logic ... ive downloaded the vb1 .. for macintosh on the site of steinberg , but in logic i can't upload it to work with it ... anybody have a way for i can upload it .. to start working again with my vb1 software .. and i know they are quiet good machines in logic to make basslines .. and outher machines out from logic .. but all my work is made with vb1 .. at least until ive chaanged to macintosh systems .. so if one day i whant to make a bether version from does old versions , i will need to remake a entire bassline again .. and the track will be forever diferent ...

any one that can help me with this issue !! ?

i apreciate it in advance !

well, havent got logic7 yet.,

but.,

it has a synth in there (not sure how it's called) which should be able to produce almost identical sounds to vb-1., (amongst a lot of other sounds)
but you would need to recreate them by hand.,

i understand that this is not the right solution,
but if running vb1 is impossible you can always trty this

darn, forgot the name.,
it's a physical modeling thing.,
one of the new ones.,

anyway.,
hope you get it going.,
greets.,

every AU for Logic 7 need to pass validation of the new engine. If it wasn't optimized for Logic 7, it won't work correctly or won't work at all.

I suspect that's the issue here too.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Hmmm... There's no AU of VB1, you could try FXPansion VST-AU Wrapper, but I think it'll fail validation, if it lets you wrap it at all, I think I remembr trying this and it not working.

If it did wrap successfully, it would still fail AU validation, I think, but you can bypass that, and still have it run if you want.

For bass in LAP7, I reckon you should try the ES2. It's pretty damn good.

For what i've heard, they are working on a vb-1 for osx...
The vst 2 au adapter won't work in this case, this works only for osx-vst's...
If u still have acces 2 the old (os9) version of vb-1...i'd suggest 2 sample it...or wait...
Anyways...i think the es2 is capable of producing nice basses 2...so...
Good Luck ;}

no i have the last OS X panther , and i know that i can make nice bass with does machines .. but .. my dam thing is all the track are made with this bass .. idont mind to start making basslins with outher machines,, my only thing is the before track .. before buying the mac .. if i whant to remake a new master for ex .. i will need to remake a intire bass for the track .. i mean EQ compression new machin for bass .. etc .. and all the track will be not the same .. :|           "HIGH PULSE" AKA FUSION OF DARKPSY PROJECTS

You can install Logic 5.5 that still use VST and do whatever you want with the VB1. I think that Logic 5.5 still runs on Panther.

well mate .. but if i payed 850 euros for the logic 7 .. why i would use the 55 since it was the version i used before in the PC

thk anyway

and trip .. they are all finished track .. but .. for me im always puting the track bether and bether .. i never stay happy hehe
so it would be hard past lots and lots of basslines to wave eheheh           "HIGH PULSE" AKA FUSION OF DARKPSY PROJECTS
