hello friends, i formated my computer, i installed again all the programs that i wanted but i made a mistake, i assign to open the .sit files for a mistake to the toast, but toast doestn open that, then i installed the stuffit expander,( this open the .sit files) but i put automatic to open and i dont know how to put again the default open to stuffit, ( because the default i assgined to toast) somebody know where i can change the deafult setting and put to open with stuffit, because i dont want to put again and again open with... is it clear?

control or right click a sit file
open with
different programm (bottom)
window opens choose stuffitexpander and check the box "always open with this application" (bottom left)

ok i did it, and the .sit file that i did open always with stuffit but if i try to open another sit files go again with toast because u put that and says that toast is the default, i need tu pur every .sit file with that, is there a way that all the sits change?

hi, i know your problem, it happened to mee too with my ppc and there was no way to change tha f...ing thing! However i think the only way is uninstall toast and then reinstal, i don't know if it works, maybe...
I suggest to use a deinstaller or something similar and restart your laptop...hope it works!
