mac. now what?

so, i bought a...."mac."
and i've never had one before. ever.
got any advice?
i'm planning on learning logic, as i really like the sound of its plugins.
but i'm curious, is there any really awesome software you can get in AU that you can't get in VST?

just start working, apogee interfaces are pretty exclusive for mac..
I use cubase and am starting using ableton live now. don't know logic.. maybe its worth a try.
I have a seperate login for music and as an ex windowser asked some people if I had to "tweak" anything in the os to make it more stable.. people treated me as if I was a bit crazy or so...
So just start working, enjoy and maybe as me, you'll never look back

stuff that you're like "damn i wish somebody had told me the first weekend i was using logic...."
cuz that's the plan for this weekend!
all my friends and my roomie are out of town.
it's just me and the studio..........!!
