i cant see any au installed in logic, but they are correctly instaled and i can run absynth and others as stand alone but not through logic. nothing is appearing in logic besides logic stuff. whats happening here? any help?

Probably the AU's are not yet optimised for use with Intelmacs...???
What plugs are u talking about ?

Plugins made for PowerPC Macs are not compatible with Intel Macs. You need to wait for the plugin developers to make new versions that will work on an Intel Mac.

The apple logic forum is worth checking out as well. theres a guy called supafly x on there with an powerbook intel and 7.2 who could help

hello guys
i m talking about native instruments and spectrasonics Original software. it dosent work. i tryed to put logic 7.2 and the same plaugin synths in the power book and all was fine. its just with my mac intel that nothing happens. So this guys release mac intel, they release logic version .2 to work on the computers, and now there is no plugins that suports?? how lucky i am

This thread is a good reminder of why it's important to verify that existing software and plug-ins will indeed run on updated hardware/software configurations. The information is easily found on manufacturers' websites and forums like this one.

I've read posts on various forums from buyers of Intel Macs who - only after receiving the computer - find out that Rosetta won't support most (maybe all) audio plug-ins until they're updated to run as a Universal Binary. Very few have been updated so far.

I feel for them. But -- we've gotta do our homework on these things.


So after all is my faul.. damn....

you cracked me up Trip. thanks for your links. this was what i was looking for. after all i just need to wait some time. i thought my bad luck was bigger!
