Not really promoting anything in particular here, but didn't know where else to put it...
we wanted to make our vision and intentionas a label and party organizer clear. hope you will take a moment to read our words, thanks!
Mistress of Evil Statement of Intention
M.o.E believes in the tremendous healing power of dark, psychedelic trance music, inspired, sacred spaces and ecstatic, transcendental dance. It is our intention to create, promote and offer an experience that encompasses those elements.
In every mythical adventure, journeying through the depths of darkness is a necessary means of authentically embracing light. We love "dark" and intense trance music because it allows us to confront our fears and anxieties in a safe and constructive environment with those we love. Dancing with the demons in our minds and arriving at a place of understanding, acceptance and no fear, allows us to honestly celebrate and bask in the light.
We embrace both dark and light imagery. Light cannot exist without dark; life cannot exist without death. We seek to ‘trance end’ the duality and find ourselves standing whole in these experiences.
We recognize that the aesthetic, music and type of ritual we create may not be pleasing or comfortable for everyone. We realize that is not even possible. Instead of seeking to please everyone, we respect the differences that occur within the larger community of psychedelic trance; we remain committed to contributing our part and honoring the community as a whole.
For those who are open to our unique experience and ready to delve deep into their psyche, we offer an intense trance dance experience in a protected and intentional psychedelic space. We see the trance dance experience as an unparalleled opportunity for personal growth and healing and we have committed ourselves to the continual quest for greater awareness and joy. We ultimately hope that our journey through the darkness and light, and the lessons we learn along the way, will inspire peace within ourselves, our community and our world.
Our deep respect for the Goddess nourishes our desire to see her represented within our philosophies, words and actions. Our deep reverence for Gaia prompts us to be mindful of our impact on the earth and to follow a "leave no trace" ethic that respects life. We strongly promote peace in all of its forms. We embrace strong community, blissful madness and psychedelic art and music that propel us all toward a greater vision for life.
The Mistress of Evil concept was birthed from our passion for the music. If you share in our passion, then we welcome you to dance with us! If not, we openly encourage you to seek out or create your own passionate experiences.
