go to www.m-audio.com
tell them about youre problem and u will get an answer i believe..
U might wanna try not to disconnect it too...
if u are using windows XP u dont have to re-install them, XP just recognizes the hardware and gives u a little popup letting u know it can feel the card (i know its realy annoying)
just close it and try using the card...
Good Luck

Try to raise the buffer size, keep in mind though it may increase your latency.
Good luck

When I first starting music and I bought my soundcard I had the same problems. And then I realised it was just clipping. Maybe you have that problem too. Try lowering the volume in all the channels in the mixer, especially the ones that the light that shows the volume goes red. Hope that helps. |

i think it definetelly must be to do with latency...
try to test with diferent buffer sizes to see what happens like Pavel mentioned.
