M Audio Oxigen 49 .... need help !!!

hello .. i just bought the oxigen 49 and when i run the cd install(drivers) it says completed and then after plugging the controller it says usb device not recognized by windows and wont work bla bla :S
im also plugging the controller to the pc and not my sound card as i have no midi ports available
any one faced the same problem ? or have a cure ?
im really dying to get the goddam controller working 
somebody help meeeeeeeeeeeee

As far as I know, M-Audio had quite a few problems with their Oxygen drivers in the beginning. Check the m-audio site for updated drivers, I'm sure they would have fixed this issue by now.

exactly , m audious are notorious for buggy drivers in (bundled) with the hardware, check m audio site and download new drivers as illusions mentioned , best of luck . |

hahaha ,,,
yeh man ,,, i had the EXACT same problem
and there was no way of fixin it till now
so i dunno really ,,, i guess mine was a outta the box failure
m-audio products r quite shitty ,,, even my soundcard i bought had fuckin system noise
dont trust m-audio n e more

power it from the adapter it works
when you power it via the usb it fucks up
