you can go to the record settings in Volume control and set it to record Wave, insted of recording line-in.

What kind of computer and software are you using?
You may need two 1/4 inch pin cables (not length), attach output 1/2 to the inputs on the front or back, then record inputs 1/2 in cubase.
or with some wave editors (wavelab) you, well I can just record any sound coming out of my comp. |

Well... how your going to record from your DVD into Cubase.
Better done with Wavelab or Soundforge.
Just play the DVD open one of this programs.
Make sure your getting levels,
You have to select you soundcard ASIO in the Wavelab Settings.
Also in the Control Panel make sure your playback and recoding options are chosen correctly. and this should be very easy then. |

there is free software that will convert dvd audio to wav files, you can even set the times to convert so you dont have to convert the whole thing. I'm not on my comp right now so I can't remember the name of it, but search the net or write back and I can give you the name later. peace |
