hey , i have the fast track pro , there is one very irritating bug tho , that outside electrical signals (like suddenly switching on/off a fan / light / doorbell etc) cause it to hang , no sound .. then u gotta restart it.. very irritating , some other people also reported similar bugs in m audio cards so be wary .. maby save up some more and go for a rme instead .. apart from that i cant really comment coz its my first audio production specific card and im pretty new at all this myself .. the axiom 49 must be nice , i have the axiom 25 and love it to bits , again ..cant say much about as its my first controller , but no problems there , easy to set up , fun to play around ..

best of luck

hi warlock, I suggest that you do not go for Fast Track pro, better get a firewire interface , that seems to have no problems as of yet and more over firewire port is faster than a usb since fast track pro is a usb based.

had my Fast Track Pro for over 6 months now and im happy to report ZERO problems with it so far.

used it both in studio and for live and it works a treat - does everything i need it to.

- also, havent had the hanging problem reported by mk47.
