i've been using bx5a for a year sometime in the past and i was very satisfied for the time being..
i've listened to bx8a in 2-3 friends studios and i must say m-audio didn't work enough on the 8'' model.
i would never purchase bx8a.

I've never liked the response on M-Audio monitors..for 8" in that price range I prefer the Mackie MR8.
