I'm happy with my Axiom 25, though I do wish I had the extra stuff that the Axiom 49 has.
The Axiom, to me, is more useful in Ableton than Cubase, even though I use the Axiom for both softwares.
I don't have any experience with the Edirol but the Axiom 25 was worth my money, so I imagine the 49 would be also.

hm i got the 49 and the things i dont like are this stucking knobs, dont like that steps and i dont like the keys as well..would much prefer the edirol ones..they are more like the most synth keys..
but if you come from actualy playeing piano then the axiom keys might be better for u..
drum pads are nice and big on the axiom..

hm..the edirol is overall smaller actualy..not in lenght but in width and height..wich is nice i think..
i would go for the edirol if i where you..
dont you have a big music store in your area where you can check out both?

Ya, that Nocturn looks sick, I want one!
I have the Axiom 25 and love it, never had any issues and a great price.
I really like the semi weighted keys, makes it seem less like a plastic toy.
The pads are very sensitive but I have heard stories about them going bad and stop working all together.

Hm..im not sure but i think its no problem to get the nocturn as usual from novation uk..they deliver to all retailers in europe

dont buy the axiom. The knobs are a joke!!
try akai mpk49, rock solid knobs, just dont like the pads too much. But i rather prefer one with good knobs and crap pads than one with good pads with crap knobs.

yea, the akai is the best imo as well..very nice keys and knobs..
even has an internal arpeggio included..
