M Audio 410 Firewire issues....

Hey owners of his soundcard... Pls let me know:
1)How do I turn the blue light off??? When I turn the sc off, the light start to turin on/off... Very annoying. I need to desconnect the firewire cable(or the AC).
2)Sometimes the Level Controller does not work... I restart my pc and all is back to normal...
COuld u pls send me some answers...

hopefully u got the latest version of drivers/firmware - that should help... other then that - the card does behave strangely in the pc environment in my opinion.
im happy to say i dont have any problem with this card since its sitting disconnected and my new rme took its place

But I already made a tune with 410, and I have no complain about it... Only this issues that will not make my music better or not...

many firewire audio devices have problems with some older via chipsets.
A texas instrument chipset solves these problems right away in most if not in all cases.
Getting a pci fw card built around the TI chipset is something I would most certainly try as one of the first steps of troubleshooting...right after latest drivers and firmware.
Also, try installing the current drivers in overwrite mode cause it sometimes solves problems too.
