Hi Friends,
If you haven't heard LYCANS MEETING yet, tomorrow night is your chance!

Nelson (Mind Distortion System) will present the full CD on air...TOMORROW Thursday NOV 20, sometime between 22.30 and 01.00 Central European Time (4.30 pm to 7 pm USA East Coast). Many thanks to our BOOM SHANKAR friends Oli and Julien at Radio Campus, 92.1 FM - Brussels.

Hey DJs!
Wanna join the Lycantrop crew?
The winner of our upcoming LYCANS MEETING DJ MIXCAST CONTEST will be invited to join Lycantrop Records as a label DJ!
Eligibility:
To enter, you must:
1. be a working DJ, with 3 references of paid parties where you have played in the last 18 months (name/date event and organization, copy of flyer or link to web event posting)
2. have proof of purchase of the LYCANS MEETING CD (email purchase confirmation from online shop, scanned copy of paper receipt, etc)
3. Send us your mix, containing
- at least 2 tracks from LYCANS MEETING
- a total of at least 5 RELEASED tracks from LYCANS MEETING ARTISTS (can include LYCANS MEETING tracks)
We'll publish all mixes as Podcasts and listeners can vote for their favorite.
Your mix can be a live mix or in-studio. Exact minimum and maximum length will be published before Dec 10, along with FULL CONTEST DETAILS (how to upload, format, etc) .
SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM DEC 15 TO MARCH 15.
(the sooner you enter, the more chances you have to be listened to and voted for!!!)
VOTING WILL RUN UNTIL MAY 15!
May the best mix win!! |

Okay, here are the details on how to enter and win the contest we are running to promote Lycans' Meeting - and find a new label DJ!
We had some complaints about the requirement to purchase the CD to enter, so here we make it very clear - you can enter without purchasing...you just cannot win! ;-)

Send us your mix (sendspace, megaupload, etc,) including:
* at least 2 tracks from LYCANS MEETING
* a total of at least 5 RELEASED tracks from LYCANS MEETING ARTISTS (can include LYCANS MEETING tracks)
* Tracklist and timings AREs REQUIRED (artist name, album release information (if unreleased, please note "unreleased")
* Deadline to send your mix: MARCH 15 2209.

Technical Details - PLEASE READ!
- Your mix can be a live mix or in-studio.
- Audio Format: MP3 or AVI
- Minimum Length: 45 minutes
- Maximum Length: 1 hour and 15 minutes
How it WORKS:
- Contest runs on the You Tube Lycantrop Contest Site) until May 15.
- Each mix can be rated. Highest rated mix wins. (you must have a YouTube account to rate a video - sorry about that!)
- Videos will be in a PLAYLIST called "Lycantrop DJ Contest Mixes"
How to LISTEN:
- Playlist WILL be embedded on Lycnatrop's main website, blog, Psyport page, MySpace page, Facebook profile, etc
- The playlist can be embedded by anyone - your own MySpace page, for example!
- Darkpsyde is also hosting the videos !
- Our friends over at Triplag will be airing the mixes on their radio station. (A dedicated newsclip on the Webradio site will direct listeners to the You Tube Lycantrop Contest Playlist so they can rate mixes.
How to WIN:
- Your mix must have the highest rating on the You Tube Lycantrop Contest Playlist (in case of tie, mix with most ratings wins)
- You must be a working DJ, with 3 references of paid parties where you have played in the last 18 months (name/date event and organization, copy of flyer or link to web event posting)
You must show valid proof of purchase. *
* If first-choice winner is disqualified, the next highest-rated valid entry will be the winner. We know some of you will NOT buy the CD and we welcome you to join the fun! You can still enter the contest and take advantage of the promotion opportunity. You just cannot win a DJ position on our label....this time.
