this is the first finished track from a project i am busy with a lot last half of the year: Lunatic Cafe - Charade. not psytrance, but still related to psy and ethnic music, so i didnt have any hesitations about posting it here

Equilizyme, bro, all sounds recorded live. Vocals, Darbuka, Riq, Dhol, Cello, Violin, Flute. The only samples there are those voice sample you hear in the beginning (from Eyes Wide Shut) and after cello's solo - we ripped it from vynil (did that for the first time btw, as well as many other things in the track).
Nice thing is that in this takes we used pretty simple and cheap darbuka (mid-level, around $150), and after that we got 2 other darbuka's of MUCH better quality and sound. Igor (my partner in crime who plays darbukas and other instruments) 've been to Istanbul and bought them from the great Turkish master and player Hakan Kaya. Actually the new instruments are his own darbukas that he used to play. They are customly made, very interesting sound. Those will be used in the next track. We even think about doing a proper darbuka sample pack. If we dare to do that, i will let you know
