Yesterday, I took a nap during the day and I lucid dreamed for a full hour.. it was an amazing experience. I would be on the verge of falling asleep, know it, and then I'd 'open my eyes' onto this whole other world of my dreams.
Two parts I remember very well: 
*1*) I walked out of a house near the edge of a cliff.. looked up at the sky, which was really the ocean with a seal swimming in it. So, I dove off the cliff and down, into the sky. It was exhilarating.. especially because I knew what I was doing.
*2*) Another part was that I walked outside to my girlfriend to give her a kiss, then she turned into me as I approached her. I was standing before myself, naked and staring at me. The other me was pushing towards me like he wanted to 'become one' with me.. I kept pushing him away with all my strength, and he finally stopped pushing me and whispered in a voice that pierced right through my soul, it seemed.
he whispered something like, "Once you are ready to become one with yourself, you will be able to go on the life-changing quest that you have been waiting for."
It was weird.. seeing myself like that.. everything was exactly as I remembered it in mirrors and whatnot.. it was so strange though..
I've not enjoyed a dream so much in a long while..
Any similar experiences with lucid dreaming? For example, I was conscious of lucid dreaming before I even fell asleep/into a type of trance.

Yeah, I have had lots of lucid dreams.
During the last dream I was lucid for 30-45 minuttes, and I knew that everything in the dream was the product of myself.
So what I did was to conjure up a person I could talk to, and then I conversed in depth with that person, to learn the truth about myself.
Since the person I was talking to was really myself, I got to hear my own words & thoughts about myself without my conscious ego dictating / influencing the facts.
It was very interesting, as is it always with lucid dreaming.
