My guess is you installed SP2 while you were online - thus before ever getting secure you're machine is allready attacked by this worm. Reinstall windows, leave your network disconnected - install SP2, reconnect network > update windows with latest security fixes
Another way would be: install SP2 now, then remove the virus with a tool. The firewall from sp2 should keep you save from it
