What's the best way to go about using a filter over the whole mix for a swell?
And which filter sounds the best in your opinion?
I tried using FilterVST and automated a lowpass filter, but it doesn't sound big enough. |

Can you be more specific ? From what I understand, you should simply put the filter on the master channel and automate it. |

when you are done with creation, mixing and everything, maybe a good idea is to bounce the section you want to sweep and put it back as a audiofile in the mix and put filter on that channel?
i think there are lots of ways to do it... i dont do that very often anyways...

sometimes you might want to compress or expand as the filter goes into action
Monitoring devices, know where you go
Mass media, total control
Digital delight, desire in megabite
Data overflow, virtual suicide
