I usually like them to be the result of a kick and bassline.
Sorry..still have no idea what you're asking.

Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |

remove the 2nd octave , starting from F.
so depend on your note
F 87hz
F" 92hz
G 98hz
G"103hz
A 110hz
A" 116hz
B 123hz
C 130hz
C" 138hz
D 146hz
D" 155hz
E 164hz (sometimes 82hz works better depend on the patch)
sometimes totaly , sometime it might take the energy out too much...
generaly very good to get round and clean sound , just b carefull not to totaly make it weak
sometimes the trick is actualy to not touch the note freq but one that is actualy not being dominant. (between the first 2 octaves of the note where its empty anyway - use analizer to see it)
this also ensure smooth melodic basses , without the energy changing too much www.sattelbattle.com

| You start at the second octave. So whatever your first one is. ex: bass at G1, notch out G2. |

sorry dont mean to rain on the parade but just remember that it may not sound as fat with a kick u choose or make, could take a while for a decent match, patients is the key, and so is alittle bit of compression on the kick to keep same consistancy in low end with bassline.
