What size is the room? how are the monitors and set up in the room? again you might be sitting in a node.

The size of the room is about 15x11x8. The monitors are set in an equilateral triangle.

Which wall are the speakers set against, the long one or the short one? How far from the back wall are they?

they are set up the long way, and they are about 1 foot off the wall.

As a rough guide you should position yourself 38% away from the wall you face and then position your speakers to your listening position.
