Love-festival major fuckup in Turkey!

Cancelation..
This is fucking outrages! Me and Wiking was booked .5 month ago to play at LOVE-festival and agreed on showing up from travel and expences. Both Wiking and me have during this time thanked no to gigs on this date, paying gigs that is, due to the fact that we where booked, and still to the time of writing this mail not a single soul knows even if the organiser can afford our trips?!
-"The guys fliped when he heard $440.." Thay sayed?
What? Do they really think we would go by boat, sponsered with food from the red cross or something?! Ofcourse these things cost a little, and since we both had agreed to play for travel & food, we saved them a couple of hundred dollars already..
No-one did ever call us about what happend with the money, and almost none of the sent mails where answered... One of the organisers even hung up during a call, istead of saying:
-"Im sorry, we made a fuckup, we do not have money for your trip, i hope we didnt cause you any economical kickbacks due to our misstake.. the budget wentr in the roof and im sorry that iŽll have to cancel you guys.."
Me and wiking will not show up, and i dont think no other serious dj will..

well my friend don't be so disapointments there will be more and netter gigs for you guys so cheel.
you take 440$ for a gig ? ITS NOTHING compare to house artists.
who are the orgenizers so we could be more carefull for future booking...

No the trip costed $440, i didnt request any money at all, since i never played in Turkey, and i wanted to be nice towards the organisers.. My normal fee is around $300, and perhaps that is low, but still im not Anti, Noma or Atmos =) Hehe.. When iw been spinning half the time as these guys have i ofcourse will raise my fee.. Im not sorry for what happend, but i cant understand the people behind it, they lost 2 good dj:s but gained 2 enemyes... Stupid and ignorant.. Fuck it.. just wanted people to know what they where visiting is someone here is going... |

Yes i did.. 3 times accully... And hopefully more during this year.. Im talking to goodkarma aboutr another party soon.. a hell of a lot better then the other parties.. Assaf i think is a fresh wind that has been needed in good karma... |
