After going through the comments on my previous track (lurker), I spent 5 months studying production/mixing techniques. If you have a moment, please check out this track and let me know what you think. Any/all feedback is very welcome. Thanks for your time!

You got an interesting beginning. Makes you want to see what comes up.
The kick seems somewhat smashed, some compression would be useful. The base disappear aswell. Perhaps you have some synth action going on which interfere with the low freq range.
I would make the lead which comes on at 1.50 more wet but otherwise it works well.
The synth which follows it up fits in well.
There is a rising sound in the build up in the middle which really remind me of a song, cannot remember which it is tho. But its a pleasant and nice buildup.
Good work on building it up too the the break on 4:40.
The 303 sounding sound which comes in it quite low.
Nice ending and i like the shift to the, last synth.
Overall i think you got a good structure and nice work of buildups and such.
The mix is not very clear tho in the lower freq. Im no expert but i feel there is abit of overlapping freq´s.
You got a old school sound going around. Its a good song. Good job!.

Thanks for the well thought response. The low end has been a real bitch to get right. Unfortunately I live in an apartment, and I have to mix on headphones most of the time, so it's hard to monitor the bass properly. I think you're right though, there is some masking/interference in the low end. Thank you very much for reviewing this for me!
