After years of wondering what happened to the MELT world music label, this release which was talked about for ages (www.melt.co.za), I finally tracked down this album this weekend in Cape Town.
Released 2005, this features the genius Greg Hunter on the mouse, Pops Mahammed on voices and co-producer...this CD follows in similar style as the Alien Soap Opera. Sounds recorded in South Africa & Egypt mixed in style without detracting from the live feel of the recordings.
After 2 listens I can recommend this to all lovers of Greg Hunter and those seeking some authentic sounds and grooves from Africa...lekker luister!!! |

yep i got the lotus cd ,via gemm,its the others i mentioned that are elusive,spesh

On the next Interchill Release - Arcana there is a Dubsahara remix of Kaya Project's One God Dub, and also a new Dubsahara tune Harmonic Density.
mp3 edits on interchill.com
Greg collaborated the following musicians on the project...which could be what jagatah started off as...
amir abd elmagid, ibrahim kowala, kris weston, pete lockett, azam ali, loga torkian, carla scaletti, goru, chiwonisu.
