actually korg ms2000 and korgMicro as opposed to other synths, are not really that great, sure they sound ok, but they do have more cons then pros like:
only 4 voice poly and 2 part multi.
only 128 memory allocations for user patches,
filters are not that great (the resonance actually eats up the whole sound instead of boosting it).
osc sections is somewhat poor.
arpegiator sync is awefull.
it would have been nice to have larger effect section.

the only thing that i like about them, is mod sequencer, distortion and vocoder (which is ok) and thats pretty much it.           www.venomous2.com

yes that is wat i ment by sayin that the features r powerfull but they rnt so pro

The only synth that wasn't mentioned in this topic, but can make some serious devistating sounds is Yamaha FS1R.
i know many ppl don't like fm programing due to it's complexity, but still FS1r holds some serious power that can stand above many VA synths, and is absolutelly worth to mention here.           www.venomous2.com

i like novations a lot, specially de nova and no VSTi compares to his sound and flexibility...
