Hey folks, i decided to make my cd collection digital now.
Im going to rip every single cd i have in some lossless format. Is there any way to store id3 tagging or metadata to wav or aiff files? Flac is not an option for me.

Cheers

I don't think it's possible to id3 tag wav or aiff files, although I'm not 100% sure about this. Why is flac not an option, if I may ask?

well i can write some kind of chunk or metadata to the aiff files, but now i need to know how i can import fields from excel or csv to the files.

cdj2000 don't support flac and i need a lossless format that works both with traktor scratch and cdj2000.

The cdj supports aiff aac wav and mp3

Maybe if there is some kind of applescript that can take the data from a file and add it to the fields in itunes.

Well not if i have a script to automate it.
To put it track by track would be quite painful.

And i didnt buy originals to use as mp3
