Hi. Let's see if i can explain myself...
What i want is to loop a voice sample but speeding it up more and more everytime.

Dun remember any particular song with this effect (or maybe one shpongle's).
What i don't know if it is something achievable via some kind of VST sampler or is it just stretching it on cubase and using something to pitch bend it/accelearate it or how.

I think you get what i mean, the same phrase going over and over like madness in yer head.

thanks for all

simple way would be to raise the pitch as you keep triggering it although you would get a chipmunk effect after raising it awhile (which also would be pretty psychotic)

if you want to keep the same pitch while only changing the speed, I think the only way is to create several audio files using time stretching, and trigger them in succession

i know what effect you are talking about, it IS present in a shpongle song (the Nebbish route)
and in a 1200 mics song (Salvia divinorum, guess mr Raja ram recycled it )
what i do (if that's the effect ur talking about) is just take the vocal sample and stretch it, and then i just link the pitch knob to a LFO, and then just tweak the speed knob (on the LFO, automate it) so it will get a twitchy dabadooba kinda thing.

(if you mean repetition of the sample, just trigger it over and over, i dont understand what's the problem.

OK thanks! There wasnt any problem just asking for a method to. You know this issue i commonly face in learning production is the posibility of achieving the same result through different paths so now i know the best or have a much more clear idea of how to do it! Thanks again.
