Looking to make nice soundscapes..

Does anybody know a synth you can recommend for this?
I've gotten some ok soundscapes from Absynth but I don't really like tweaking that synth at all I just feel uncomfortable with the interface.
I was also recommended Computer Music Dominator for drones but not available for mac.
What about Omnisphere? |

Omnisphere is supposed to be the king.
I use Sculpture, but its a Logic Native synth.
I would give Omnisphere a go for sure and there was this cheal plug called "Space something" I think? There was a thread about in on the software section...from what I can remember that sounded very good from the samples I checked.

Thanks, I found it its called Space Synthesizer by (http://www.mhc.se/)
I have Sculpture, I feel embarrassed that I've never used it.
Omnisphere I don't know its way too heavy!

soundscapes is an art all in itself. it is sound design at it's core.
make your own!
chain a noise source to 8 filters in series with slow lfos, just as one idea. get creative, dont just dig out the random rompler,

I too say make your own. However, my tool for making my own is very oftne Omni
