Guys as you may have seen my website http://www.learndigitalproduction.com in my earlier post.
I am looking for a volunteer to add glossary content. I'm going to cite wikipedia for all my glossary terms. Listed will be the term, the definition then a "learn more" link to wikipedia.
I am also looking for volunteers to create video tutorials in the following softwares: logic, reason, ableton, cubase, sonar. I am handling the tutorials for FLStudio. I am also looking for someone to make general tutorials for any daw about production techniques.
The last volunteers I am looking for are article writers. People to write articles about music production. Mostly education articles. However, I want to review equipment as well.
I have already programmed everything so it is easy for the user to create this content. There is no coding involved it is all done through the forms on the site.
I am also looking for anybody who wishes to share sounds. Any user can currently upload their sounds. Go to create content then sample and please fill out all the information that is shown. Don't worry about anything in the pull down menus except the attach file is in a pull down link.
Create an account at http://www.learndigitalproduction.com and send me a PM and I will grant you the rights to control the content that you are volunteering for. I hope to eventually be large enough to get free shit to review! lol dreams. anyways keep bangin guys. I just want it to be a place where people can get sounds they need/want and learn how to become the music producer they want to be.

yes, the only thing i am gaining from this project is a portfolio. giving to the community. learning the drupal platform. and hits on eusidmusic.com when it launches. i will probably run a google ad block somewhere out of the way or possibly sell an ad block just to cover server costs. if content providers wonder about the money they can see all statements. i probably wont even make server costs though. i plan to buy a better hosting plan as i launch more sites. so it would be no big deal to have this running as well as the others.
i have lots of ideas in the works to explain my entire plan would take a great deal of time. but in short yes this site will always be free. it is not intended to make money.

the site is a bit more functional now. configuring my news feeds, setting up the database for the tutorials, articles, and freeware downloads sections. adding a preview button on the samples page and then i'm set for launch after the content i currently have is implemented. sign up guys. contribute! upload your own sounds!
i know some of its kinda like a magician doesn't want to share his tricks. then don't just put up some that you don't mind losing to others this site is going to be highly driven by its community thats why i'm trying to get people involved in the early stage.
By the way if you are made a content provider you have many more abilities. You are a forum admin, you can create content types of article, tutorial, glossary entries, and samples. Everyone can create samples though. However if I make your account a CP acct please only do glossary entries and samples until you see that I've began adding content to the other sections. I have to set up the database and tables etc so I can keyword them and categorize them.
