you need to change that kick, it's too weak. you need a peericing kick. If you find it hard to make one yourself you can grab a sample, try Psyload samples I heard their kicks and they are pretty kool in most cases. You can make your own or use a VST like KickMaker.
for leads you need to play more with filters, especially bandpass filters. And remember not too make it too complex. The more stuff you put into a single segment the less it's it precepted in the listeners mind, because too much is happening. One thing at a time keep it simple without overloading.
Also, you need to finish a track, the big picture without the little stuff or fx, as fast as possible because your brain will generate more stuff and the more you ingage in the same track the more unrelated stuff you get into it with each interaction. If you haven't finished it yet, drop it and start a new one, don't waste your time. It took me about 3 years to understand that. When you got the big picture then start adding transitions, blips/blops, fx, and the rest of the micro work. To finish this whole process shouldn't take you more then 4 days. If you are stuck and it doesn't go and it's been like a week just drop it and don't come back to it, disassemble it into samples to use in a later track. If you adopt this then you will do very well on the long run.
