hi i'm looking for a sound system{to bay} for small's party's{150-250 ppl}
can any body give me a good combo{what spekers,amplifiers....} and some direction's on what 2 serch for?

something between 20000 to 25000 shekels{4000$ 5000$} ?{do i need to spend more for agood one?}

i say .... take the 20 g`s put them on lottery tickets... win a couple of millions and buy a complete mth-4 set...

Or build speakers your self, and get good amps...
Good amps will make a lot of the sound, EV, Dynacord, Crown are my favourites...
I've built a whole PA myself, it sounds great, it needs a lot of skills, but if you know somebody working good with wood, the rest is all up to the components..
There's a lot about it on the net, finished plans and everything...
For 100-200ppl I would recommend at least 4 x 18" basswoofers, or more... make it two way, one amp section for bass one for mid high... only if you are experienced with passiv crossovers... but make it three-ways if you got the money to spend for three amps and an active crossover...
5000USD is not a lot, allways think that you are going to buy something that transmits music, better go for quality and less power and buy later more, instead going for power and shit quality..

listen man, today the market in israel is a litle more expensive than your budjet, if you are looking for reasonable quality and i am not talking turbo sound here ( almost 90000 for onr with amp) take the apugee- nice sound good for 200 ppl almost 4000$ a top. only eon of jbl ( dj monitor ) costs 2000 sh. a normall standard amp reck including 3 amps of crest ( cheaper than crown but good amps) is about 15000 sh.
for good 4 tops you need 20000. ( eaw, nexo, jbl etc..) save some more cash, or lower your equipment quality.
