Don't listen to full-on much these days, but the albums from Ecliptic and Tron I really like. Wondering, has there been any recent releases that have a similar, infectious funky sound, with a good variation in the basslines, and not the same bassline throught the whole track!

Anyone can point me to direction of something similar?

Fromem Ory... beatnik... that sort of thing? Tron's a pretty damn individual artist so I couldn't recommend a similar style.. don't know ecliptic that well at all.

i kinda liked 2 main projects in full on this last couple of month

perplex and basic (diffrent type music but just rabdom out of my head)

huge sound , good melodic structure , some commercial sense (in the good way) , lots of power

and if thats too cheesy then some uk underground
e.v.p , reality grid

liquid dream - +1
you kind of nailed a perfect list of morning acts. would also recommend:
corona
hydraglyph (listen to psyops on va - pulsar)
furious's side project - 'delerious noon'
sinewave
the commercial hippies
aphid moon
fractal glider
the egg
alchemix
protoculture (his newer stuff is nice but his older stuff is nicer)
triptych
psytrain
heterogenesis
rinkadink (some of his stuff is really something)
polaris
fatali

hope that helps

Liquid dream and squirm..I know most of the acts you mentioned and most are not really what I am looking for, you seem to have names most decent full-on acts, but I am looking for a specific kind of sound, playfull and infectious.

I'd check out track no.1 on V.A - "Phunkcore" (doof).

playful fun and not standard cut n past full on.           --- Love In Light, Dance In Darkness ---

I recommend the o.o.o.d album (not very recent , 2006 release) .. nice sunny music that fit that bill good !
